How you can help Haiti
We have two ways which your congregation can help provide emergency relief to our brothers and sisters in Haiti:
1. Working with the Haitian task force we have established an emergency relief fund. Discernment of the funds is made according to the needs defined by the MEBB as well as our other contacts in Haiti. The banks are open and money is being transferred down for food and water for the communities and medicines for the clinic.
2. Disaster relief ministries of the wider Church ministries of the national UCC church has already established funding routes to Haiti through their connections and as of this morning has already sent funds from one great hour of sharing funding. They have a website where you can donate directly or you can designate funds labeled "OGHS – Haitian Relief" and send them to our Conference. http://www.ucc.org/disaster/major-earthquake-strikes.html

UCC Haiti Task Force
The MEBB/RICUCC Haiti Task Force is dedicated to providing quality health care, education, pastoral training, recreation and community based services for the people of Haiti. We do this through shared worship, sustained friendship and joint advocasy for positive change.
