The full-week colloquy experience includes:
Presentations, biblical reflections, morning prayer, workshops, Taize worship service, small group discussions, singing in the choir, many ways to renew or make new friendships, and free time to enjoy the beach and explore Cape Cod.
2019 Keynote Speakers:
Dr. Jennifer J. Wiseman and Professor Ron Cole-Turner will be our keynote speakers this year.
is an astrophysicist who studies the ongoing formation of stars and planets using telescopes on the ground and in space. She also is the Director of the AAAS Dialogue on Science, Ethics, and Religion (DoSER) program. A 2012 article she wrote, uses an excerpt from the hymn How Great Thou Art to explain why the study of Creation can lead Christians into meaningful worship and overcome obstacles that impede true praise. holds the H. Parker Sharp Chair in Theology and Ethics at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. He is a member of the Executive Committee of the International Society for Science and Religion, and Co-Chairs the American Academy of Religion Unit on Human Enhancement and Transhumanism. His book, Transhumanism and Transcendence: Christian Hope in an Age of Technological Advancement, was published in 2011.
